We are looking for hard-working Warehouse Operatives to join our Woolpit and Guildford teams. If you are a quick-learner and have strong communication skills and a positive attitude, please apply for this role.
Role
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or collection according to picks – sales orders (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or collection according to the production sheets/pick sheets (Produce, load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Checks loads are correct before shipping
- Unload/receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, label if required, place in correct storage area)
- Perform rolling stock takes on selected lines weekly and keep quality standards high for any audits.
- Stock rotation/pulling forward (make sure older stock is picked before new stock)
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
- Report any stock discrepancies to our buying department
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers and work as a team
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles, equipment and machinery (daily check sheets/online checking system) and report any issues to your Line Manager/maintenance department.
- Follow Company quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Always comply with company Health & Safety procedures and report any breaches immediately.
- Participate in stock takes and to make sure all counting is completed accurately and In line with company procedure.
