The Benefits of Using A Lotrack® Biaxial Geogrid

The biaxial geogrid provides ground stabilisation and reinforcement for a variety of engineering projects. The interlocking design of Don & Low's Lotrak® controls the movement of aggregate materials. This has a number of benefits. The soil is confined and reinforced, while you won't need to use as much fill material. It's also a cost-effective option.

Lotrak® can be used in a wide range of horizontal applications, such as roads, car parks and construction. Uses include separation, drainage, filtration and erosion control.

Uses of Lotrack® Uniaxial Geogrids

If you're working with vertical surfaces, uniaxial geogrids are used in the construction and repair of slopes and retaining walls. Because of the angles it has to work at, the uniaxial grid is high-strength and incredibly robust. It takes the lateral earth pressures, and has to be able to resist any creep over a long period of time.

The plastic ribs of the uniaxial grid are stretched, giving them high tensile strength in the longitudinal direction (the biaxial has high strength in both directions), hence their use for vertical and sloping surfaces.
